Gas Repairs
When you need to make an appointment to get your boiler repaired, contact the Service Delivery Team in the same way you would for any other repair.
- Emergency repairs
If your boiler breaks down between 30 October and 1 May, we will come to repair it within 1 working day. If we cannot fix the boiler on the first visit, we will provide electric heating and pay for the extra running costs.
- Urgent repairs
If your boiler breaks down between 2 May – 29 October we will come to repair it within 3 working days. If we cannot fix the boiler on the first visit, we will provide electric heating and pay for the extra running costs.
What should I do if I smell gas?
If you can smell gas call National Grid straight away on 0800 111 999 (free from landlines), as this can be extremely dangerous.
Gas safety checks
When you need to make an appointment to get your boiler checked, contact the Service Delivery Team on 020 7704 7300.
ISHA has to carry out checks each year on every gas boiler. They are very important because we must make sure your boiler works well and safely.
As a resident, you have to allow access within a reasonable time.
We will post three reminder letters to you for your gas check. We will ask you to make an appointment in the morning (9am – 1pm) or afternoon (12pm – 5pm). If we still don’t get an appointment we will hand deliver a request, and we will also call you.
If you do not make an appointment, ISHA will contact its solicitors to get access.
