Islington and Shoreditch Housing Association (ISHA) is a community and neighbourhood-based housing association managing and developing quality affordable housing for people in North and East London, and building more homes in Hackney, Islington and Waltham Forest. We are a major provider of truly affordable housing in North London, with over 2,500 homes. Lien Viet Housing Association ISHA consists of Islington and Shoreditch Housing Association, with Urban Style Ltd as a subsidiary. We also incorporate Lien Viet Housing Association and proudly continue to deliver culturally sensitive services to local Vietnamese and South Asian communities. Our vision Islington and Shoreditch Housing Association is smaller and more local than many other housing associations operating in London. Our roots go back to 1933 and we have grown rapidly in recent years, but our focus has always been on our residents. Our vision is to co-create homes and communities where everyone can flourish. Working with local authorities and other housing associations We work in close co-operation with our local authorities, Homes England, and other local housing associations, including black and minority ethnic (BAME), special needs housing associations and co-operatives. Investment in development is provided by the Greater London Authority. ISHA leads the North River Alliance (NRA), which is a consortium of north and east London community-based housing associations.
