Becoming an ISHA resident
How to become an ISHA Resident You can become an ISHA resident by applying for housing through your local authority. We do not operate a waiting list for our homes, so if you want to become and ISHA resident, you will need to contact one of the Local Authorites below and register with them: London Borough of Hackney London Borough of Islington London Borough of Waltham Forrest London Borough of Camden You can also become a tenant by being referred by a referral agency. We currently work with Boradway, Apna Ghar, Bangla and Outward. For more information you can visit the our Supported Housing section. You can also swap homes with an ISHA resident through a service called HomeSwap. This is also known as mutual exchange. If you live in a council house or another housing association's property you can swap using this service. For more information you can visit their website at http://www.homeswapper.co.uk/ or you can email them at info@homeswapper.co.uk. You can also become an ISHA resident by buying one of our Shared Ownership (Part Buy Part Rent) properties. To do this you will need to be registered with Housing Options. Please visit their website via www.housingoptions.co.uk. For more information on all of these options, please follow the links on the left hand side of this page. You can also call ISHA on 020 7704 7300 or email isha@isha.co.uk.
