We offer temporary support to ISHA customers to help them maintain their accommodation and independence, improve their well-being and remain safe. This may include help with: Financial issues such as budgeting, debts and rent arrears; benefit and charitable grant applications; and accessing local food banks Housing and tenancy issues such as dealing with anti-social behaviour or domestic violence; rent arrears and repairs; setting up home, arranging adaptations if you have a disability or finding more suitable housing Finding social activities and building support networks Accessing specialist services such as occupational therapy, mental health services or drug and alcohol support Finding work or training How do I get support? Contact us on 0300 131 7300 or email Outreach@isha.co.uk to connect with an Outreach and Support Officer. You can also ask another ISHA staff member to refer you to our outreach and support team. The Outreach and Support Officer will then arrange to meet you for an assessment so they can find out what help you need. They will agree on a support plan with you and arrange further appointments over the following few months to try to resolve the issues identified at the assessment. We will do our best to support everyone, but there may be times when you have to wait for support. Where cases need urgent assistance, for example, to prevent eviction or where there is domestic abuse, we will prioritise these appropriately.
