Coming soon… Keeping your home safe and warm: A guide for winter
Over the winter months, we’ll share tips and tricks to keep yourself warm and well during the chilly days ahead. We’ll bust energy myths to help you keep your costs down and direct you to free-to-use resources to make your money go further. Did you know? Staying in a home heated to less than 18 degrees can be damaging to your health, especially for the elderly or very young. If you’re concerned about energy costs, heat the person, not the home. Dress in layers and have warm drinks throughout the day. Using a thermal flask, you can keep a mug of tea warm for hours without needing the kettle. ISHA can issue foodbank vouchers. If you need support, contact our Outreach Team by emailing OutreachAndSupport@isha.co.uk or calling 0300 131 7300.
