Amazon Key

We have teamed up with Amazon to help residents living in shared-access buildings receive Amazon packages safely inside or on your doorstep.

Amazon Key helps stop parcels from being left outside the building or in the wrong location within the building.

Over the next few weeks, Amazon technicians will visit some of our buildings to install a small smart device called an Amazon Key system. The system will not be visible to residents, but it will help deliveries become more accurate and secure.

How does it work?

Once installed, when an Amazon order is out for delivery, the driver will use the Amazon delivery app to verify that they:

are an authorised driver for the delivery
have a verified parcel that matches the delivery route
are in the correct location.

Once verified, the driver will receive a one-time entry to the building.

When the driver enters the building, they receive specific instructions to deliver the package to the location as requested by you. After the driver’s access has expired, they cannot re-enter the building until they have another Amazon delivery for the same building.

Security and privacy

ISHA does not share your data with Amazon, and Amazon does not share any personal data with us.

The Amazon Key system does not collect any data from residents about where the packages are delivered. Amazon takes privacy seriously and has taken extensive security measures with the Amazon Key system and Amazon delivery app. Only authorised Amazon drivers with a verified parcel can access the building for an Amazon delivery with Amazon Key.

Remember, do not share your building access codes or entry fob with anyone else.
