Get help from your energy supplier - Priority Services Register
The Ofgem Priority Services Register (PSR) is a service provided by the Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem). It is a free register that energy suppliers maintain for vulnerable customers who may need additional support with their energy supply. The PSR is designed to help people who may be more vulnerable due to factors such as age, disability, long-term illness, or other special circumstances. Being on the PSR can provide benefits such as: Priority in the event of a power cut or gas outage, which means you'll be one of the first to have your supply restored. Alternative arrangements if you rely on electricity for medical equipment or have other special needs. Access to information and advice about saving energy and reducing bills. Eligibility The eligibility criteria for the Priority Services Register may vary slightly depending on the energy supplier, but generally, it includes: elderly or disabled people families with young children those facing financial hardship people with chronic illnesses or medical conditions that require electricity for medical equipment.
