Our last Neighbourhood Night of the year was a brilliant way to wrap up 2025! On Tuesday 25 November, more than 20 residents joined us at Our Lady & St Joseph’s Church Hall, Hackney, for an evening filled with conversation, connection, and plenty of delicious food.
These events are all about you – giving residents the chance to share what matters most, celebrate what’s working well, and tell us what needs attention. They’re also a great opportunity to meet neighbours, enjoy a warm meal, and help shape the future of your community.
It was wonderful to see many familiar faces and welcome others for the first time. We were also pleased, on what was a very cold night, to be able to offer hospitality to the wider community by sharing our hot food. Many of you took the chance to chat with our staff team, get answers to repairs and service questions, and even resolve some issues on the spot thanks to our contractors being there. Residents left with big smiles – exactly what these evenings are all about!
A note from Gabby
“As ISHA’s new Resident Engagement Officer, this was the perfect way to start my first week. Meeting residents, hearing your priorities, and seeing how our teams work together to support you was invaluable. These conversations showed me why events like this matter so much – they’re spaces for real connection and honest feedback.”
Looking ahead to 2026
We want to make next year even better by involving more residents in shaping ISHA’s community events, outreach, and activities. Got ideas? Want to get involved? Email us at Involvement@isha.co.uk – we’d love to hear from you!
