It was another busy week for Team ISHA, with the latest round of our Neighbourhood Knock and our Leadership Team visiting estates in Islington.
Knocking on doors in Hackney
On Tuesday last week, staff were out locally in Hackney getting to know 'the faces behind the doors' on several estates. In total, around a quarter of our staff were out and about listening to residents, recording any issues and updating our records to ensure we have the correct information for each household and know the best way to contact them.
The Knock means we get to meet residents face-to-face, find what is important to them, and hear first-hand what they want to see us improve in the services we provide. It's just the beginning of our dialogue, with any repairs logged, appointments arranged, and new information added to our systems once staff are back in the office.
If we missed any residents on the day, we'll follow up with a phone call to have a chat with them and let them know what actions we're already taking to improve where they live.
It was a hot day, but the staff taking part enjoyed meeting our residents and the friendly welcome they received. Thanks for inviting us into your homes.
