ISHA's AGM 2026

On Wednesday 23 September, we held our Annual General Meeting (AGM), led by ISHA Board Chair Bob Heapy. Board members, members of the Resident Scrutiny Panel, and ISHA staff all came together to reflect on the previous year and look ahead to what's next. 

Bob spoke about 2025 - 26 as a year of change and shared some of the key achievements and challenges from the past 12 months. Bob thanked everyone for their hard work and commitment to ISHAs mission and values. 

He said: "Notwithstanding the challenges and changes, ISHA performed strongly in the last year, continuing to drive up service levels for our residents, invest appropriately in our homes, and to start to develop new ones." 

Bob then introduced the Financial Statements 2025-26 (PDF, 6.7mb), which are now available to read on our website. 

We also took the opportunity to thank June Riley, Mohammed Baporia, and Daven Masri for their contribution to the board as they step down from their roles. At the same time, we welcomed Sarah Pearce, Mark Newstead, and Elaine Holder as new board members. Elaine joins the board as a full member after serving as ISHA's first Associate Board Member. She brings valuable experience as an ISHA resident alongside her professional governance expertise. 

Before the AGM, the board met with the Resident Scrutiny Panel to hear their views and discuss the improvements they'd like to see. Bob thanked panel members for their honest feedback and highlighted the importance of open and ongoing conversations with residents. 

Bob closed by saying: "With our new strategy to focus on delivering I really do think we can look forward to the future with confidence."
