On Wednesday, 20 May, members of our Leadership Team (LT) went to two of our supported housing schemes as part of their regular monthly 'walkabout' visits.

Liz McKeon House and Penn Street are both located in Hackney and support people over 55 who have additional needs.

The walkabouts are a chance for our senior management to see ISHA properties with their own eyes, chat with residents and identify what is working well and if there are areas for improvement.

After the visit, Pippa, our Chief Executive, said:

"It was really great to talk to residents and some of the Hackney staff. The blocks looked pretty good [although] they could do with a little bit more love, particularly in the communal areas. The flats themselves are really nice, and they've got beautiful garden areas.

"I know Sophie, our Resident Involvement Lead, is planning to work with external organisations and the residents to improve those areas, and I'm keen to get personally involved with that project."
