Over the last few months, you’ve been sharing what you think is working well, where we can improve things, and what matters the most to you when it comes to your home.
What you told us has helped to shape our corporate strategy for 2026 to 2030 and our new values, which will be the driving force behind it.
The new strategy sets out our priorities and commitments to you, our residents, and how we will go about delivering them. Think of the strategy as a roadmap for how we will improve our services for you and continue to deliver safe and affordable homes in the long-term.
A strategy shaped by you
To help develop our strategy, we looked at the data and feedback we’ve received from you from complaints, surveys, and community events. We also carried out a survey to hear what matters most to you about your home and community.
You told us:
- A safe and affordable home is your top priority.
- We need to improve our main services to you.
- That you want to feel heard.
From your insight, we developed the key activities we’ll deliver over the next four years, which fall under two main themes:
People
- We're already working with you to co-develop a new resident involvement strategy.
- We’re putting a service improvement team in place to help streamline our repairs and service charge processes.
- We'll keep hosting resident engagement events to meet you in your community and hear your views.
- We’re continuing our Associate Board Member programme to make sure our residents can shape the way ISHA is run at a board level.
Place
- We’re reviewing our repairs contract to make sure we can put things right for you quickly and safely when they’re not.
- We'll keep working on how we manage anti-social behaviour to help you feel safer in your community.

Our new values and behaviours
Our new values have been chosen to reflect the things our colleagues should do and the ways they should act to deliver the best possible service for you.
Whenever you speak to one of our colleagues, whether it’s face-to-face, in-person, via email, or on the phone, you should see these values shining through:

We’ve already started work to make sure our colleagues know what they need to do to start living and breathing these values.
Everyone will be set specific targets based on our values, as well as the corporate strategy priorities, that they’ll need to meet, so that we can make real progress and deliver on the things you’ve told us are important to you.

We’ll also be introducing a resident involvement strategy later this summer to complement this work and ensure that everything we do has been shaped by you, for you.
