Result of the Regulator’s inspection

A sign for the Regulator of Social Housing.

The Regulator of Social Housing (the Regulator) has released its judgement on our recent inspection.

ISHA is regulated by the Regulator of Social Housing (the Regulator), a government body that sets national standards to make sure that social landlords provide safe, good quality homes, and reliable services for their residents.

All housing associations are inspected by the Regulator every four years. Our most recent inspection was in April 2026 in line with the four-year cycle.

Inspections cover three main areas, and we are pleased to have received compliant gradings for all three:

  • Compliance with the consumer standards (C2)
  • Governance (G1)
  • Financial Viability (V2)

This is the first time we have been inspected on the Consumer standards. Our gradings for Governance and Financial Viability have remained unchanged.

Chief Executive Pippa Fleetwood-Read said:

“We are pleased to retain our gradings of G1 and V2 and to receive a compliant C2 for our first consumer Standard judgement.

“Our new Corporate Strategy lays out our ambition for the next four years to both continue raising the quality of our services for our residents and build the desperately needed affordable homes for our heartlands of north and east London. We therefore recognise the identified areas for improvement, and they form a key part of our recently approved plans.”

For more on about the gradings please visit our Openness and transparency webpage and the detailed report is available on the RSH website Opens in a new window/tab..
