In‑person workshop
This workshop will be on Wednesday, 18 February, between 11am and 2pm at our office on Blackstock Road. The workshop will include lunch and time to meet and chat with other ISHA residents.
Online workshop
The online workshop will take place on Thursday, 19 February from 5.30pm – 7.30pm.
What to expect from the workshops
The workshops are all about creating a new five-year plan about how your voice is heard to improve the quality of your homes, services and community. The new resident involvement strategy can only work if your voice shapes it from the start.
During the session, you’ll have the chance to:
- share your experiences as a resident or leaseholder
- tell us what’s working well and what isn’t
- talk about activities you've taken part in, such as the Neighbourhood Knock and Neighbourhood Nights
- explore what meaningful involvement should look and feel like
- work with us on how we can listen better, respond better, and work better with you.
We’ll also look at what residents have already told us through the recent survey and get your input to help inform the priorities for the future.
Everyone who takes part will receive a £20 gift voucher as a thank you for your time.
Support to get involved
We want everyone who wants to participate to be able to. We can:
- reimburse your travel costs
- arrange transport if you have a disability or find travelling difficult
- help you understand information, including help with English
- make additional adjustments — just tell us what you need.
Looking ahead
The survey and workshops are just the beginning. Your voice in February shapes the direction, in March there will be further sessions to work together to build the solutions. Your voice will be central throughout — because the best decisions are made with residents, not for them.
