Lunar New Year is special for ISHA, as many residents live in homes provided by the former Lien Viet Housing Association, now under our umbrella.
The residents were among the Vietnamese and South Asian refugees who made their homes in this country in the 1970s.
As they celebrate the Tet on Tuesday 17 February, we wish them Chúc mừng năm mới".
For the Chinese, it is the Year of the Horse, this year specifically the Fire Horse. It is associated with movement, passion, ambition and adventure!
This year we will be providing funding for a traditional celebration being planned for Sunday, 1 March. The event is free for all ISHA residents to attend.
