Cyclical decorations

In most cases, ISHA or your managing agent will undertake a programme of internal and external cyclical decorations and repairs to your homes. This work is done on a regular basis, generally between five and seven years. The condition of the property will be assessed and works will be carried out where needed. You will be consulted in advance about any works that are expected, such as painting or window repairs and gutter clearance/repairs.

Fire safety action

If a fire starts in your flat, or you hear the air horn alarm or your heat detector alarm sounds:

  1. Get everyone out of the flat.
  2. Close doors behind you.
  3. Leave the building by the shortest route (do not use the lift as the fire may make the power fail).
  4. Once outside, walk to the assembly point which is outside the park in Bridge Port Place.
  5. If you pass a Security Patrol Officer, inform them of the fire or alarm.
  6. Once safe, call 999 and inform the Fire Brigade of the fire.
  7. Do not re-enter the building until either a Fire Officer or one of the Security Patrol Officers says it is safe to do so.

If there is anyone in your property who may not be able to hear or respond to the alarm, contact ISHA on 0300 131 7300 so we can help with alternative arrangements.
