Our approach to resident involvement and scrutiny

In 2019 ISHA partnered with Tpas to embark on a new, flexible and engaging approach to resident involvement and scrutiny.

So far, the new process has engaged with over 100 residents across different areas including repairs communication, anti-social behaviour and ISHA's response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Resident involvement strategy

We have revised and relaunched our 2021-2025 resident involvement strategy (pdf, 1.1mb).

The strategy outlines how you can get involved with us, let us know what you think of our services and how we will use resident involvement to improve the services we provide.

The strategy details opportunities to get involved, including:

• residents' association
• scrutiny panel
• communications panel
• repairs panel
• complaints panel
• health and safety panel
• focus groups.

Other ways to get involve

On your estate or in your community

• Attend an estate inspection – go to in your area or check your noticeboard for dates and times
• Start a residents' association with other people on your estate

Quick ways to give feedback

• Respond to a satisfaction survey – these are sent via email, text or by telephone. We try our best not to sent you too many surveys. Your responses are fedback to managers in each service area and used to improve our services.
• Contact us on social media - We are on X (formerly Twitter) Facebook and Instagram! You can leave us comments, get quick responses and keep up to date with latest ISHA news. We want to use these platforms to create easier and quicker two-way communication with you.
