Outreach and Support
Who is this support for?
Support is available to all ISHA's Vietnamese and South East Asian customers. We also provide support to members of the wider Vietnamese and South East Asian communities. We hold regular drop-in sessions in the community. You can find your nearest session on our events calendar.
We welcome referrals from other agencies. For more information on this service and how to make a referral please email one of our Outreach and Support Officers. They speak English and Vietnamese and can access support in other languages.

How is support provided?
You can contact the Outreach and Support Officer directly or you can be referred by an ISHA member of staff if they think you might need some help. The Outreach and Support Officer will arrange to meet you to carry out an assessment so they can find out what kind of help they can provide. It may be an issue that they can help you resolve there and then. Otherwise they will develop a support plan with you and implement it over an agreed period of time.
Can we support everyone?
We will do our best to support everyone who requests this service but there may be times where you might have to wait for support to start being provided. Where there are cases which require urgent assistance, we will prioritise these appropriately. This could include cases of domestic violence or where someone is threatened with eviction.
