Health and safety panel

We want to establish a residents' health and safety panel to work with us to make sure all our residents are safe in their homes.

As a member of the panel you will help us tackle important health and safety issues like fire safety, building safety, gas and electrical compliance, anti-social behaviour, domestic violence, mental health problems as well as cleaning and maintenance.

The aims of the health and safety panel

• Help ensure our business continuity planning (which is enacted during a crisis) is resident focussed.
• Work closely with our fire safety working group.
• Review and suggest changes to how ISHA approaches health and safety issues such as anti-social behaviour, refuse and recycling, neighbourhood safety and how we response to serious instances of respiratory infections, such as COVID-19.
• Work closely with our Health and Safety Committee to make sure the safety of our residents continues to be priority for ISHA in all its business decisions.
