ISHA is participating in the first-ever National Involvement Week, and we are proud to be part of it! We want to raise awareness of what it means to be involved, its many benefits, and the ways in which you can take part with ISHA. In the coming week we will be sharing more involvement stories and opportunities for you to take part. What involvement means to ISHA ISHA’s purpose is to provide quality, affordable, and safe homes where people can flourish. We do this by co-creating homes and communities with residents. Co-creating means involving residents in the spirit of partnership, collaboration, and shared purpose. It means listening to residents' views, incorporating different perspectives, and valuing the range of experiences in the communities we serve. By involving residents in our work, no matter what our role, and whatever way it happens, we shape ISHA for the better. The ISHA Neighbourhood Knock That’s why on a sunny day in August, 11 ISHA staff members carried out the “Neighbourhood Knock” across 73 households in Haringey and Camden. We visited homes, talked to residents, recorded their views and acted on issues raised. It won't be the only time we do this; we will be out and about door knocking throughout the year. Find out more. Get involved and have your say We want to continue the conversation, and work in partnership with you to improve ISHA.
