Register to vote for Mayoral and London Assembly elections!

Elections for the Mayor of London, the London Assembly and the Greater London Authority all take place on Thursday May 2. Here’s what you need to do to vote.

How to Register:

You need to register to vote in UK elections if you've never registered before, have moved house or have changed your name. The deadline to register to vote for elections on Thursday 2 May is Tuesday 16 April.

Remember to bring I.D.

To vote in England, you now need to show photo ID to vote at polling stations in some elections. You’ll need ID to vote in the elections on May 2 2024.
