Cost of Living support funding

A number of councils are offering funding to help locals cope with the Cost-of-Living Crisis, and many more have a range of support and resources available to you.  

 

 

 

If you rent your home and do not receive Housing Benefit or Universal Credit, you could qualify for a one-off £250 payment from Islington Council. 

 

The Islington Hardship Fund is designed to help people who are working and need help to pay their rent. Full details of eligibility and how to apply are available on their website.   

 

Funding is awarded on a first come, first serve basis. You must apply before Wednesday 31 May. 

 

If you’re struggling to pay for essentials like food, energy or housing Camden council is offering up to £500 in support.

If you qualify you can accept financial support in the form of a payment into your bank account, vouchers or help with debt repayments. It could also include appliances to help you reduce costs such as a slow cooker, air fryer or microwave.
